Our family-run, historic country inn befindet is located directly between the mighty city wall from the Middle Ages and the Danube, the Limes of the Roman Empire, and the Donau-Auen National Park. In only 3 minutes on foot, you reach the center of Hainburg- the medieval town on the Danube via the historical Blutstiege.
Between Vienna and Bratislava (Bratislava), our house has been a Treffpunkt of economy and politics, culture and art as well as for friends of Carnuntiner wines and regional delicacies since grandparents’ times. Our philosophy: Quality and level are not a question of money, but an attitude to life.

The medieval vaulted dining room offers cozy niches and places for a romantic lunch or dinner. (approx. 30 places) In the Laf Wurm Stüberl we are happy to organize your family celebrations as well as your company celebrations and seminars. (approx. 36 seats) Our Kristallstube offers space for approx. 30 people. In the restaurant, we can cater for groups of up to 60 people by prior arrangement.
We attach great importance to working closely with our local farmers and winegrowers and thus bring exceptional quality and freshness to the kitchen and cellar. The meat from our young organic beef comes directly to the house from our farm in the Nockberge/Carinthia.
Accordingly, the menu changes daily, weekly or monthly depending on the season and availability of staple foods. Our country inn has received several awards from Falstaff and Gault Millau.

I have been a passionate landlady since 1992. The satisfaction of our guests is a matter close to my heart. My philosophy is to carry on the tradition of my grandparents to pflegen and beyond. For me, this means down-to-earthiness and a sense of home, paired with openness.
